Zusammenfassung
1921 hat Rudolf Steiner mit einem Heilmittel aus
Zitrone (Citrus limon) und Quitte (Cydonia oblonga)
eine damals neue und einzigartige Therapie gegen
„Heufieber“ geschaffen.
Gencydo-verwandte
Präparate erfolgreich bei Pollinose und einer Reihe
weiterer Erkrankungen eingesetzt.
Abstract
In 1921 Rudolf Steiner created a remedy from lemon
(Citrus limon) and quince (Cydonia oblonga), which
at that time was a new and unique therapy for “hay
fever”. Ita Wegman, who herself suffered from hay
fever, used this remedy successfully for herself and
for many of her patients. In 1923 she wrote an article
about the new “Gencydo” preparation for the then
most important Dutch medical journal. This article is
published herewith for the first time in German, beginning
with a detailed description of the origin and
therapeutic reasoning of Steiner’s hay fever therapy
and the historical context of Wegman’s publication.
From Wegman’s account, the case reports and the
contextual reflections, it becomes clear how Steiner’s
concept of therapy was conceived at the time, was implemented
and has proved very successful in practice.
Even today, after more than 100 years, Gencydo® or
Gencydo-related preparations are successfully used
for pollinosis and a number of other diseases.
