Zusammenfassung
Trotz der Komplexität der Entstehung der menschlichen
Gestalt wird bei der Gestaltbildung ein allgemeines
Bildeprinzip erkennbar. Rudolf Steiner bezeichnet
das Lebensprinzip in Pflanze, Tier und
Mensch als Ätherleib. Der Mundraum gilt ihm als
Spiegelbild der individuellen Entwicklung, der Zahnbefund
somit als "Gesundheitssignatur" des Menschen.
Eine kieferorthopädische Behandlung kann nur
dann nachhaltig sein, wenn gleichzeitig eine Förderung
im Sinne einer gesunden Weiterentwicklung des
gesamten Menschen stattfindet. In diesem Sinne
an seinem Gesundheitszustand eigenverantwortlich
mitzuwirken.
Abstract
The development of the human form is highly complex,
yet one can perceive a general developmental principle.
Rudolf Steiner referred to the vital principle in plant,
animal and man as the ‘ether body’. In his view, the oral
cavity mirrored individual development, and the dental
status was therefore the ‘health signature’ of the human
being. Orthodontic treatment can only be of lasting
value if healthy redevelopment of the whole human
being is encouraged at the same time. In this
sense it makes use of human beings’ potential for lifelong
change, guiding them to active personal involvement
in working on their state of health.
Jaw anomalies develop in the course of life, with hereditary
factors playing only a minor role. Orthodontic
instruments should make it possible to stimulate the
body’s own powers to make the necessary changes.
Art therapies, physical and medical treatment are
needed in support, and eurythmy therapy is particularly
effective in combination with orthodontic measures,
since deformation in the physical body is counteracted
directly by the ether body’s activities in us.
