Zusammenfassung
Aus dem Erleben des epileptischen
Anfalls wird das Wesensbild
der Epilepsie entwickelt.
Sie wird polar zur kindlichen Hysterie
im Heilpädagogischen Kurs,
polar zur Heiligenkonstitution
im Pastoral-Medizinischen Kurs
Rudolf Steiners dargestellt. Der
Rolle der Antikonvulsiva für den
Verlauf der Krankheit wird die
Möglichkeit einer anthroposophischen
Therapie mit spezifischen
Heilmitteln und einer ketogenen
Diät gegenübergestellt. Dies wird
exemplarisch am Fallbeispiel eines
Kindes mit Absencen gezeigt.
Raffael hat in seinem letzten Bild
der Verklärung Christi den Heilbedarf
des anfallskranken Patienten
urbildlich gezeigt. Eine Meditation
von Rudolf Steiner kann in Bezug
zu diesem Bild gesehen werden.
Abstract
An image of the essential nature
of epilepsy is developed from the
experience of the epileptic seizure.
It is presented by Rudolf Steiner
as being of a polar opposite nature
to both childhood hysteria, as
presented in his Remedial Course,
as well as to the ‘constitution of
holy persons’, as presented in his
Pastoral Medicine Course. The role
of anticonvulsant drugs regarding
the course of the disease is compared
with the possibilities of anthroposophic
therapy with specific
medicines and the ketogenic diet.
This is exemplified in a case study
of a child with absence seizures.
Raphael represented the archetypal
healing needs of the epileptic
patient in his final image of the
Transfiguration. A Meditation by
Rudolf Steiner can be seen in its
relation to this picture.
