geschildert. Er umspannt eine einjährige
Kompostierung grüner Pflanzenteile mit anschließender
Trocknung, Verbrennung und dem Auflösen der
Asche in Wasser.
Abstract
The medicinal product Solutio alkalina was introduced
into anthroposophical therapy by the pharmacist
Walther Cloos about 50 years ago. In the article,
the manufacturing process is described in detail. It
comprises a one year composting of the green parts
of plants with subsequent drying, followed by incineration
and finally dissolution of the ashes in water.
From consideration of the predominantly building-up
life processes in the plant kingdom, which are characterised
by growth and reproduction, emerges the
polar relationship with animals and human beings.
In animals and human being catabolic activities
predominate. The connection as described by Rudolf
Steiner between seed formation in plants and the
formation of ashes by incineration is presented and
related to its meaning in the production of Solutio
alkalina. The formation of humus likewise carries
the signature of ’death and regrowth’ and leads to
the so-called ’universal seed’.
The processes that are seen in nature are enhanced
in the manufacture of Solutio alkalina in the labor -
atory. ’Working in accordance with developing
nature’ is a manufacturing principle that has been
described by Rudolf Steiner as forward-looking.
The article closes with a summary of the indications
described in the literature for Solutio alkalina and a
look at the meaning of the etheric.
