Zusammenfassung
Die Blutwurz, Potentilla erecta (Synonyme: P. tormentilla,
P. officinalis), ist eine ausdauernde Rhizom -
pflanze aus der Familie der Rosengewächse. Bereits
Darms.
Abstract
Tormentil, Potentilla erecta (synonymes: P. tormentilla,
P. officinalis), is a perennial rhizome plant that belongs
to the rose family. In medieval ages tormentil was an
important remedy for the treatment of wounds, ulcers,
bleeding, inflammation and diarrhea. Botanical studies
reveal that tormentil unites centripetal and centrifugal
processes. The centre of tormentil is located in
the middle of the plant, in the rhizome, wherefrom it
eradiates into the ambience. Tormentil’s rhizome contains
up to 25 % tannins. According to a hint of Rudolf
Steiner the healing effect of tannins is due to their
ability to make the astral prone to tie to the etherical.
Together with the finding of intense intersection of
dissolving and condensing processes, that are centered
in the rhizome, the understanding of the healing
power of tormentil is established. Tormentil mediates
formation and consolidation of dissolving metabolic
processes falling out of order such as haemorrhages
and acute inflammation. Accordingly, tormentil is used
for the treatment of inflammation and bleeding of skin
and mucosa, female reproductive organs and intestine.
